The County Financial Overview is designed to be a resource for county officials, state legislators and all Iowa citizens.  It contains information on property taxes and valuations, county budgets, population and local option sales taxes, to name a few.  Most of the data was supplied by the Iowa Department of Revenue or the Iowa Department of Management, and the source for each table is noted.  If you have any questions, please contact Jay Syverson, ISAC Policy Analyst, at jsyverson@iowacounties.org.

Note:  Most of the tables below are updated for the 2009 County Financial Overview.  However, for some tables, updated data is not yet available. We anticipate those tables will have updated data available in the spring of 2009.  Once that data is available, new tables will be posted on the website, and at that time hard copies of the CFO will be mailed to each auditor and board of supervisors.
