  Master Matrix

Developed by a 10-member statewide technical committee, the master matrix is a scoring system that can be used to evaluate the siting of permitted confinement feeding operations. Counties that have adopted a construction evaluation resolution can use the master matrix. The matrix is required by Iowa law, Senate File 2293 (2002 Iowa Acts, Chapter 1137), and was effective March 1, 2003.
