Mental Health Redesign

Governor Branstad will sign the Mental Health and Disability Services Redesign bill (SF 2315) on Friday, May 25, in a signing ceremony at the Blackhawk Grundy Mental Health Center, 3251 West Ninth Street, Waterloo. The Department of Human Services has set up a meeting with county CPCs on Wednesday, May 30, 2012, to discuss the Mental Health Redesign legislation and the HHS appropriations legislation. The meeting is designed to answer questions about the legislation and develop a communications strategy for the transitions that will occur this year and next. This meeting will be held at the Wallace Building Auditorium from 12:30 pm to 4:00 pm.
