ISAC Staff Buried in Bills

The session is well under way now, with the third week wrapping up this Thursday.  The main focus has been on subcommittees with the first funnel looming ahead in two weeks, February 12.  While there have been many subcommittees, the pattern has been to gather information and wait to sign the bill out of subcommittee, oftentimes walking around for signatures rather than holding another subcommittee.  Despite the shortened session, there has been a high volume of bills introduced.  Over 630 study bills and bills have been introduced in the House and Senate.  ISAC staff has been working to get through all of the bills and input them into the tracking tool.  Any time that you take a look at our tracking tool and you see something that we have misidentified, please let us know!  We appreciate all of the input from our members.
