LOST-TIF

In a surprise move, the House Local Government Committee approved a strike-and-replace amendment to HSB 546. The bill originally reflected the compromise that had been struck last year narrowing a city’s ability to capture the increment to their portion of the LOST. The committee amendment repeals the Local Option Sales Tax TIF. If you have contact with any House members over the weekend, encourage them to move this bill.
