Community Mental Health Centers Bill

The Department of Human Services pulled the two bills that rewrote Iowa Code §230A. ISAC opposed these bills for two reasons – they included an exemption from the unfunded mandates section of the code and they eliminated the board of supervisors’ ability to contract with other than the designated CMHC for a catchment area.
