Iowa Homeland Security and Emergency Management have begun to process the payments for the Community Disaster Grant Program.  They have provided us with a listing of those eligible entities that have submitted an application in accordance with the April 1, 2009 deadline.  Accordingly there are several entities that have not submitted an application.  Please take a moment to review the attached list.  If your city or county did place an application in the mail on or before the April 1, 2009,  deadline and the list shows that HSEMD has not received it, please email cdg@iowa.gov and inform them as to where it was mailed and provide the tracking information from the certified mail receipt if possible.  Please note this is not an extension of the deadline but an effort to verify that HSEMD has received all applications that were submitted in accordance with the statutory deadline of April 1, 2009.
